The hydro distillation procedure is used to extract pink lotus attar from the blooms of the pink lotus. The pink lotus, a symbol of purity, emerges from the dirty waters where its roots are rooted. According to legend, the murkier and muddier the waters are, the more beautiful the lotus flower will bloom. As the lotus emerges from the water, her petals unfold in layers around her center, generating seeds and blossoms at the same time. Even though the lotus is one of the most gorgeous flowers, it thrives in mud.

The attar has been macerating over 5 months over a mixture of sandalwood, white lotus and blue lotus with a larger proportion of pink lotus absolute making it very pink lotus heavy. On first sniff, there's the obvious pink lotus floral with white lotus and blue providing and rounding off the pink lotus to produce a more balanced perfumery experience. On skin, this would last an average of 5-9 hours depending on skin chemistry and due to its concentration, only a dab of it is required.
